The story behind Celebrated Journeys—and the moments that gave it meaning.
I’m Holly Leclercq—founder of Celebrated Journeys™ and a travel designer who believes that life’s most meaningful moments deserve to be honored. With a background in milestone celebration planning, a deep love for intentional travel, and a heart rooted in beauty and story, I help clients transform thresholds into unforgettable journeys. Whether you’re celebrating love, legacy, healing, or new beginnings, my role is to listen deeply and craft a travel experience that feels like a love letter to your life.
I didn't set out to build a travel business—I simply understood, deeply, how precious our time together really is. Over the years, I planned trips for my own family to to mark milestones, find stillness, or return to each other after life had pulled us apart.
But it was my years in wellness and hospice care that revealed this calling most clearly. I sat with people at the end of their lives—people who had given so much to others, but still carried quiet longings. What stayed with me were the moments of reflection:
“I thought I’d have more time.”
“I always wanted to go… but I never did.”
Those conversations changed me. They taught me how sacred it is to stop waiting—to gather the people you love, to honor life's seasons, and to celebrate something beautiful simply because you can.
Celebrated Journeys was born from that understanding: that travel isn’t just about going somewhere—it’s about being fully present to the life you’re living, and who you share it with.
Today’s travelers are more intentional than ever. They don’t just want luxury—they want connection. Meaning. Transformation.
Private, tailor-made travel is rising. Milestones are being celebrated more mindfully. And after years of uncertainty, clients want their time to mean something.
What I’ve learned—again and again—is this: Simplicity, when chosen with intention, becomes its own kind of richness.
Perhaps you recognize that feeling.
Your journey starts with a moment like one of these.
When you’re ready, I’m here to help you begin.
