Some families plan elaborate escapes. This one returned to what they love: warm beaches, good food, shared rhythms—and time with each other in Greece.
We had always hoped to do this—bring the whole family to Greece. Our children, their beloved spouses, and all our grandchildren. Over the years, Constantine and I made it a quiet tradition to offer each of our children and their families a journey of their choosing, one at a time. A way to give them rest, togetherness, and time away from the press of ordinary life. But this time, we longed to be all together.
The villa we chose overlooked the sea, and in those weeks, it truly became home. The days unfolded gently—slow breakfasts on the terrace, long swims, hikes along the coast, the most exquisite meals we could have imagined. We visited the monasteries, lit candles for those we carry in our hearts, and allowed space for joy to rise between us.
Even with so many of us under one roof, there was
time for each grandchild. One-on-one walks, a shared pastry at the bakery. Oh it was just delightful. All of us together.
We have such fond memories. It was an offering—a gift to all of us.
These are the kinds of journeys we help create—where love is made visible in the time we choose to give.
